The Artist LORRAINE COLL

I’d been admiring Lorraine’s work for quite a while on Instagram without realizing she was from Derry until my brother told me he knew her well. We’d been looking for some modern art for our newly renovated living room so I got in touch and she was fab! Replied straight away and was great at helping us work out what colours would look best in the space. She was spot on and got to work on it really quickly.
Getting in touch to actually getting our art work was also really quick. Fantastic service from a very creative and lovely lady.

I had been following Lorraine’s page on Facebook for a while and loved her work so when we redecorated our kitchen I knew I wanted one of her pieces to complete the room. I contacted Lorraine about one painting in particular and she came round to our house with that one and also a selection of other paintings so we could see them in the setting and choose the one that looked best. She was absolutely lovely to deal with and put up with us going backwards and forwards between the pictures with great patience! In the end the painting we chose was one that Lorraine had brought along as she thought it would work well in the space and she was absolutely right. It was perfect. But we still loved the one I had originally messaged her about so we bought it for our living room. Excellent result all round!

We’ve admired Lorraine’s work for a while and decided to go for a commission piece. The process was seamless! We highlighted a series of her pieces that we liked and Lorraine was able to remotely advise on what would suit our room. Lorraine married myself and my husband’s ideas and created a unique artwork. Great communication throughout and we saw snapshots of the work as it was created, but we were always happy to trust the artist. Absolutely love our new piece. Can’t imagine the room without it!
